The TGMET in Thailand runs laparoscopic cadaveric dissection workshops regularly. In this workshop, doctors get to perform hands-on surgery on cadavers. This is a crucial training opportunity for trainees to practice pelvic space exposure, identification and isolation of delicate plexi in the pelvis. There is also ample opportunity to utilise advanced energy devices in surgery, attend lectures and live surgery sessions with experts in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
Our host, Dr Amphan, was most accommodating and together with his team of organisers and facilitators, trainees learned a great deal in a span of 2 days.
